Hogs
25/05/2007 by nigel.
Around the beginning of May we noticed that the security light in the back garden was going on and off a lot. I decided to wait in the conservatory to see if i could spot the cause. And then we saw them! Yes two hedgehogs came trumbling across the patio and down into the garden. So that night we put out some cat food to see if we could entice them into have a snack. We then hid in the conservatory and waited, they came back up the garden and wiped the plate clean. The following day we picked up some hedgehog food from the local garden centre and from that day onwards our two visitors have turned up every night.
I then decided to set up an infra-red camera next to the feeding area so that we could observe them without disturbing with them, footage and a live feed can be seen on the cam page of this site.
